THE LIFE
It was a lonely road,
Below the dark sky,
I took my way
To some unknown place
I had never been to.
Nor did I know how long it was
Or how strange it would be,
Just traversing on and on.
The road was quite silent
Might be all asleep,
None to stand by me
If I would ever slip.
Alas! No one indeed.
It made me scared,
Sometimes cry,
Whether I could catch the light
And a better place,
Better than this
Darkness and loneliness;
Someone with an amiable heart
To talk to me,
And I would share him the whole journey.
